WATER METER ON HOLLY BRAE
CMWD (Pat Guevara) says OK to leaving the meter in the driveway with the following conditions: meter
box and lid are traffic rated, the existing service line has a sacrificial anode constructed per CMWD std.
dwg W3 before the driveway is constructed. Pat believes this service may have been constructed without
the anode based on its age.
CMWD wants all water service lines to come off the water main perpendicularly whenever possible. In
this case the perpendicular location will overrule the rule of keeping meters out of the driveway. It's best to
check like you did on case by case situations like this.
