Site Development Plan Amendment 96-14(A) and Coastal Development Permit 96- 16(A) are enclosed for your review. This project is for development of two of the four Inner Park Expansion Areas for LEGOLAND California and is approximately 4.4 acres of the remaining 15 acres of expansion area available in the park. The project falls partly inside the 60 and partly inside the 65 CNEL noise contour within the Palomar Airport influence area. The project is located north of Palomar Airport Road, east of Armada Drive and is approximately 5,000 feet west of the Airport. Your written comments concerning the project’s conformance with Palomar Airport’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan, along with other factors that would assure compatibility with airport operations, are appreciated.
