HomeMy WebLinkAboutCDP 97-02; Sambi Seaside Heights; Coastal Development Permit (CDP) (14)City of Carlsbad Planning Department May 29, 1997 Mr. Bob Ladwig Ladwig Design Group, Inc. 703 Palomar Airport Road, Suite 300 Carlsbad, CA 92009 SUBJECT: LETTER REGARDING SDP 92-06(B) SAMBI/K&B PROJECT IN ZONE 20 Dear Bob: The Zone 20 Specific Plan and the staff report and approving resolution for SDP 92-06(A) include the requirement that ten percent (10%) of the dwelling units which are located along the ridgeline of the Sarnbi project be one story in height. The K&B project (SDP 92-06(8)) included only a portion of the lots (93 lots) which were approved through SDP 92-06(A). These 93 single family lots are located immediately to the west of the project ridgeline and therefore were not required to be developed with one-story units. When a Site Development Plan Amendment application is processed for the balance of the single-family lots along the Sambi project ridgeline, a minimum of 10% of the dwelling units shall be required to be single-story.
