Back on May 28.19971 wrote to you requesting permission to pour the garage
foundation at my home described above. At that time my request was denied, because
"staff can not sanction or allow improvements without the standard, legal processing of
all involved permits and entitlements"
i am once again requesting that you allow me to proceed with the foundation work.
The new foundation I am requesting encompasses 1/2 of my old drive-way so even if
my plan were not approved (which I think at this point is unlikely) I would use what was
meant to be my garage foundation as my driveway. I hardly think the City can be
accused of "sanctioning improvements" when someone replaces their driveway.
As you know the 15 day notice of public hearing ends today, absent a last minute
response its unlikely that a public hearing will occur. In addition, the few plan changes
requested by building and mechanical have been addressed.
I sincerely hope you will favorably consider my request, as my current situation is
unbearable. Please help!)
