REQUEST TO POUR FOUNDATIONS AND DRIVEWAY AT 5001 TIERRA DEL ORO
In response to your written request dated May 28, 1997, Planning management is not willing to
grant the allowance to pour foundations and a driveway at the above address. A building permit
and coastal development permit are pending for the proposed improvements to your residence.
Since your residence is located in the coastal zone and additionally within the appeal area of the
coastal zone, staff can not sanction or allow improvements without the standard, legal processing
of all involved permits and entitlements. In this case, building permit # CB 97-0714 can not be
issued until the effective date of the coastal development permit (CDP 97-15). The effective date
of the coastal permit will be after all applicable City and Coastal Commission appeal periods
have ended.
