HomeMy WebLinkAboutCDP 97-22; Campbell Residence; Coastal Development Permit (CDP) (3)July 15, 1997 -. TO: BRIAN HUNTER, SENIOR PLANNER FROM: Principal Civil Engineer CDP 97-22, CAMPBELL RESIDENCE (Bldg. Permit CB 97-1083) This residence is proposed to have two proposed encroachments into the 30-foot utility easement in the side yard. I have reviewed the plans of this project. One encroachment is a balcony on the second floor which encroaches two feet into the easement and is 10 feet long. The other is a chimney of which one corner encroaches two feet and the other encroaches zero into the easement. The chimney is made of wood and is cantilevered from the wall and does not encroach at the ground level. As both of these encroachments are minor and neither will encroach at or below the around level, they will not interfere with any existing or future utility work. Therefore, the structure as proposed is acceptable. RICHARD H. ALLEN, JR., P.E. Principal Civil Engineer c: Tom Campbell
