Please note the following: is basically a neighborhood of single story homes.
On the west side of Park Drive immediately across from the development there are four one-story homes and one two-story home.
The area surrounding the May Development
One the east side of Park Drive abutting the development there is one one-story home.
On Scott Place there are four one-story homes abutting the development.
On the north side of Monroe Street immediately across from the development there are five one-story homes and one two-story borne.
On the south side of Monroe Street there are three one-story homes one of which abuts the development.
On Packard Lane there is one one-story home under construction.
This totals eighteen one-story and two two-story homes or 90% one story homes. Additionally, on Park Drive there are eight one-story homes and one two-story home south of the development and the rest of the homes on Scott Drive are all one-story.
Therefore the new development of fourteen two-story homes is totally out of keeping with the area and totally destroys the integrity of the entire neighborhood.
Please restrict the May Development to one-story homes and help
persevere the ambience of our beautiful Carlsbad.
