McCue Attorney at Law The Aventine - La Jolla 8910 University Center Lane Suite 170 San Diego, CA 92122-1029 k Dear Ms. McCue: I m writing to you to provide an additional update on our project status as well as a follow up to my two previous letters of July 26,1999 and September 8,1999. We are almost complete with the engineering hprovernents at the! sib. The sewer and water work is complete, the dry utilities are approximately 50% complete and we are hopeful that the curbs, gutters, sidewalk and paving work can be done within the next 45 days. The project is scheduled to be heard by the City of Carlsbad Planning Commission on Wednesday evening October 20. At that time the Commission will be wnsideting, among many items, our final site plan and architecture. With this in mind the foIlowing is the status of the items we agreed to provide the Preuticcs. The architectural elevations have not been approved by the City. In fact they have requested that we consider adding a single story hme. All elevations will be reviewed and discussed on the 2@. Again the site pIan has not been approved by tbe City. Once it has been finalized we can provide the Frentices with a copy. The City has asked us to consider entering into a reimbursement agreement to provide &site improvements that would impact the Prentices and, according to the City, improve some ddnage h front of their home. As uf yet, we are Waiting for the City to take the next srep. Once this happens, and is approved, we can ask the City to provide the proposed improvement plans to the hutlces. The side yard drainage issue is Still being reviewed. Once the decisions are made we will be happy to provide the Prentices with approved architectural drawings, the final drainage design (including proposed street improvements) and an approved site plan.
