Subject: CARLSBAD BLVD@POINSETTIA U-TURN
I spoke with Ed Navarro from State Parks about his concerns for the Carlsbad Blvd U-Turn lane. His main
concern was the possibility of traffic back-ups due to campers turning into the campground. I told him that
the site would be signed "U-Turn Only" and that no left turns would be allowed. I also pointed out that
there was no change to Poinsettia, only Carlsbad Blvd. Our conversation seems to have alleviated his
concerns, so I anticipate no further problems from his corner.
Thanks for the quick notice that he did have some concerns. It allowed the situation to be resolved before
it became a major issue.
