Dear Mr Forth.
This is to confirm the approval of the Rosatena Owners Association Board of
Directors, acting as the Architectural Committee, of the reference plans
The plans are approved subject to the following change requirements:
1 California Coastal Commission and City of Carlsbad approval is required to
extend side yard fences beyond the rear of the house
2 The round precast concrete pillars shown at the entry to the house are not
acceptable. Ail pillars or columns must be square or rectangular in cross-
section and stuccoed, consistent with Rosatena designs
3 Clay roofing tile must match the tiles already in the project All exterior colors
must be approved by the AC prior to their application to the house
4 Chimney caps must be similar to those in the current units in the project.
5 The overhead garage doors must be wooden with no windows The garage
door trim must be the same as one of the designs on existing Rosatena
garage doors
6 Rain gutters and downspouts must be painted the same color as the house
exterior color
7. Gates and fencing shall be painted steel matching the style, color and
dimensions of the fencing currently in the project.
8 The address numbers shall be mounted in recessed lighted niches to match
the treatment on the other units in the project
9 The mailboxes and posts must match the units currently installed in the
project.
10 Sheet A 4 Awning windows above or below casement windows must be
deleted
11 Sheet A3: Lattice window on 2na floor must be changed to delete lattice work,
matching the other windows in the house
Your formal application form for AC approval must be submitted wrth the final
house plans incorporating the changes listed above. If you revise your plans
subsequent to the AC final approval, you must submit the changes for AC review
prior to incorporating them tn actual construction of the house
