Dear Ms. Hysong:
On behalf of Greystone Homes, Inc., I want to express our sincere appreciation to you
regarding our application to extend the grading period, which in-turn has enabled us to
obtain a grading permit on Planning Area C at Poinsettia Shores. As you were made aware
during our application, grading this Planning Area was a critical item in completing the last
phase of land development in the Poinsettia Shores Master Plan this year, and your co-
operation has been greatly appreciated by us all.
I am pleased to advise you that the mass grading operations on this area were completed
prior to the deadline of November 15. Successfully meeting this critical deadline was the
result of extensive cooperation and hard work between our staff, our grading contractors,
and your engineering inspection representatives. This spirit of teamwork between the City
of Carlsbad and Greystone Homes has enabled us to achieve the mutual goal of completing
the grading of this Planning Area and move one step closer to bringing to fruition the goals
and objectives as established in the Master Plan for this exciting Community.
On behalf of our entire staff, thank you again for your cooperation. We look forward to
working with the City of Carlsbad for many years to come.
