NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Minor Coastal Development Permit
COMPLETE DATE: May 5, 1998
DESCRIPTION: A lot line adjustment to combine Lots 5 and 6 of Block I, Palisades. The
lots al-c being combined to create one lol, of which a portion is being dedicated for street
cul-de-sac purposes.
LOCATION: This project is within the City of Carlsbad’s Coastal Zone at: North side of the
western terminus of Chinquapin Av.

Keystone Communities, LLC
No formal public hearing is required for this application because (1) the proposed development
costs $60,000 or less; (2) no other discretionary approvals are required; and (3) there will be no
adverse impacts on coastal resources or public access to the shoreline or coast.
Be advised that a public hearing will only be held for this proposal upon the receipt bv the
City of a written request for a public hearinp. within fifteen (15) working days of the date of
this notice, or bv May 2@, 1998. Failure to request a hearing or provide written comments
within the fifteen (15) working day timeframe may result in loss of the ability to appeal to the
Coastal Commission any action taken by the City on this Minor Coastal Development Permit
Application.
The Planning Director will determine this application fifteen (15) working. days after the
date of this notice if no public hearing is requested.
