NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Minor Coastal Develonment Permit
COMPLETE DATE: November 19,1999
DESCRIPTION: A proposal to add approximately 1,800 lineal feet of a five (5) foot wide,
dirt trail to the existing, Hosp Grove public trail system.
LOCATION: On a portion of City-owned property, known as Hosp Grove, which is
located in the City’s Coastal Zone, south of the intersection of Man-on
Road and Jefferson Street.
ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER: 156-08-10, -11, -13, and -18
APPLICANT: City of Carlsbad
No formal public hearing is required for this application because (1) the proposed development
costs $60,000 or less; (2) no other discretionary approvals are required; and (3) there will be no
adverse impacts on coastal resources or public access to the shoreline or coast.
Be advised that a uublic hearing will onlv be held for this nroposal upon the receipt by the
City of a written reauest for a public hearinp within fifteen (151 workinp davs of the date of
this notice, or bv December 15.1999. Failure to request a hearing or provide written comments
within the fifteen (15) working day timeframe may result in loss of the ability to appeal to the
Coastal Commission any action taken by the City on this Minor Coastal Development Permit
Application.
The Planninp Director will determine this application fifteen (151 workinzz davs after the
date of this notice if no public hearin is reauested.
