RE: MIJUSKOVIC RESIDENCE SUBSTANTIAL CONFORMANCE
Michael,
Attached are two copies of the Substantial Conformance Exhibit for CDP 99-10,
the Mijuskovic Residence for your signature. As we discussed in the meeting,
the increase in square footage and change in setbacks does not exceed 10%.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

RE: PRE 99-67, SUBSTANTIAL CONFORMANCE FOR CDP 99-10
This SCE was originally submitted October 1, 1999. There is a signed approval
letter, however the plans were not signed by the Planning Director due to
concerns about the height. Therefore, the SCE was never approved.
The applicants then pursued an amendment to their Coastal Development
Permit to allow for increased square footage, a Second Dwelling Unit and a
circular driveway. It was determined by staff that the Second Dwelling Unit
would not be allowed because the lot did not meet the required minimum for the
zone, therefore the Second Dwelling Unit permit was withdrawn.
It was decided that since the increase in square footage met the requirements
for SCE, the second dwelling unit had been eliminated, the height issue had
been resolved and the circular driveway would provide safer access to the
property, the Coastal Permit Amendment could be withdrawn and the changes
approved by SCE.
Therefore, the SCE exhibit and letter dated October 4, 1999 are not valid.
Please reference the approved SCE exhibit and letter dated February 1, 2000.
