MS 00-02: BROOME CONDO CONVERSION
COMPLETE APPLICATION & INITIAL ISSUES REVIEW
Thank you for applying for Land Use Permits within the City of Carlsbad. Engineering
Department staff has reviewed the tentative parcel map, application No. MS 00-02, as
to its completeness for processing. The application is complete, as submitted.
Although the initial processing of the application may have already begun, the official
acceptance date of the application is the date of this letter. Staff may, in the course of
processing the application, request that you clarify, amplify, correct, or otherwise
supplement the basic information required for the application. In addition, design
issues exist which must be resolved or adequately addressed prior to staff making a
determination to approve or deny the project. These issues of concern are as follows:
ENGINEERING ISSUES;
1. On the tentative parcel map:
a. Add MS 00-02 in the upper right hand corner;
b. Add the following note: "This is a tentative parcel map of a
condominium project as defined in Section 1350 of the Civil Code of
the State of California. The project contains a maximum of 2 airspace
condominium units".
2. Will you be requesting a certificate of compliance or parcel map? A floppy
disk of the digital file/map will not be required for a certificate of compliance
but will be required for a parcel map.
3. Identify the areas to be used as "exclusive use" areas.
PLANNING ISSUES:
4. A condominium permit is required. Application materials and information can
be obtained at the Planning Department Counter. Please contact your
Planner, Greg Fisher, who is assigned to your project for additional
information.
