Re: MS 93-08/CP 93-05, Cove Condos "Stipe Conversion".
Dear Mr. Wayne:
Pursuant to our discussions on Thursday, September 16,
1993, I am writing this letter requesting that you rescind the
denial of the application for the above referenced applications.
Along with this request for rescission I would request
that further consideration of the applications be held in
suspense until the City has had time to consider a Zoning Code
Amendment which shall be initiated by the applicant.
The purpose of the Amendment would be to change the covered
parking requirements of existing apartment units that are being
considered for conversion to condominiums. This Code Amendment
request should be presented to the City by the end of next week.
Because of our request for the rescission and suspense
of further consideration the applicant acknowledges that time
limitations imposed in the Municipal Code most likely will be
exceeded and therefore waives his right to final determination
of the application within the prescribed time limits. It is
anticipated that we would seek immediate reconsideration pending
a positive response to the Zoning Code Amendment application.
On behalf of the applicant I thank you for your help in
attempting to put a "fix" on a problem we didn't anticipate
at the outset of this project. If you have questions or comments
