If you find any errors or disagree with anything in my notes, please call me or markup these notes and FAX them back to me. Lex explained how he could move the units around in the northeast corner of the project and you said that this addressed your concerns with units 16, 17, and 18. Lex showed how in two instances, lot 30 and 31, it would be necessary to pull the sideyard fence out to the back of the sidewalk to provide a 10' usable sideyard. You had concerns about the appearance of the fence at the back of the sidewalk and you also felt it was important to keep the 10' sideyard to help sell the project to the Commissioners. Lex will look at the possibility of moving unit 31 slightly to allow the fence to be pulled back. If it is not possible to move the fence for lot 30, you said that you could live with pulling it back to provide 3' of landscaping between the sidewalk and fence. Lex said that wherever possible we will pull out the sideyard fences between units towards the frontyard. Lex said that we will provide curbs along the streets with slight widenings at the driveways. This was acceptable to Clyde. 2386 Faraday Avenue • Suite 120 • Carlsbad • CA 92008 • (619)438-1465 • Fax: (619)438-2443 In regards to the Coastal Sage Scrub, Anita Hayworth of Dudek walked the site and there is only 2 to 3 feet of intrusion into the CSS along the north edge of the project. Lex said that based on the mapping provided by Anita there may be no take of CSS. We will be submitting her report with the constraints map. Anita's analysis needs to address impacts from fire suppression if there are any. We should include it with our resubmittal. Lex said that he has found the previous hydrology report and will submit it to the City. The above notes reflect my understanding of our meeting on April 30, 1997. Again, if you feel anything is inaccurate in these notes, or if you have any questions, please give me a call or mark up these notes and FAX them back to me. Sincerely, Mike Howes cc Don Clurman Lex Williman
