Applicant's statement or disclosure of certain ownership interests on all applications which will require
discretionary action on the part of the City Council or any appointed Board, Commission or Committee.
The following information MUST be disclosed at the time of application submittal. Your project cannot
be reviewed until this information is completed. Please print.

PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT/CONDOMINIUM
ADMINISTRATIVE AMENDMENTS
An Administrative Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment is an administrative
permit to allow a property owner of an existing attached or detached Planned Unit
Development or Condominium unit to construct additional improvements. This
amendment must be publicly noticed and requires Planning Director approval.
Please submit the required items listed below:
What to Submit:
t. A completed Land Use Review Application Form.
f. A completed Project Description Form.
t. A completed Disclosure Statement.
4. Four sets of the site plan and elevations, showing all property lines, setbacks,
building distances from property lines and building heights.
9. A letter of approval from the applicable Home Owner's Association.
0. One set of adhesive mailing labels and radius map for all properties within a 50'
jadius of the site (see directions below.).

f. Payment of current First Class Postage rate for each mailing label you submit.
How to Prepare Mailing Labels:
Labels must be typewritten on plain, white adhesive labels and include the names and
addresses of all property owners within a 50' radius of the subject property. No parcel
numbers should appear on the labels. Please follow the exact format show below, using
all capital letters, left justified and no punctuation when preparing labels:

Also include a radius map, indicating all properties which you have provided mailing labels
for. You may utilize the Assessor's Parcel Maps available at the City of Carlsbad to create
this map.
Processing Time:
Processing times can vary greatly depending on the issues raised and the completeness
and clarity of your submittal package. The Planning Director shall make his decision no
sooner than 15 days after the City has mailed the property owner notices. The total
average processing time is 30 - 45 days from date of submittal.

Landscaping Improvement Request with the following condition:
1. Please see page 1 attached. A PUD Amendment Fee will be required by the city of
Carlsbad.
Please be aware that ARC approvals do not supersede City Building Codes. You should
