REQUEST FOR TWO YEAR EXTENSION
Dear Mr. Neu:
In my position as agent for the managing owner of the Holly Springs subdivision approved on December 7,
2004, retroactively extended by the City of Carlsbad on July 4, 2007, extended by SB 1185 on July 4, 2009,
further extended by AB 333 on July 4, 2010, further extended by AB 208 on July 4, 2012, further extended by
AB 116 on July 4, 2914, and extended by the City of Carlsbad a second time on July 4, 2016, I represent that
Holly Springs Development LLC hereby requests the City of Carlsbad to approve a third 2-year extension on
the above-referenced tentative subdivision map and associated permits, in accordance with the allowances of
Titles 20.12.1 lO(B) and 21.58.040 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code.
As you know, the circumstances of finding funding and cooperation from neighboring properties for
construction of the necessary arterial roadway improvements have been difficult. With the improving
economy, we are now proceeding aggressively with the preparation and plancheck of fmal engineering plans
and anticipate that we. will be able to proceed with finalizing and constructing the project within the additional
time allotted with this requested extension.
Included with this letter is a check for processing of this extension.
