FORM PLANNING 20 - February 1, 1979 ) ) STATEMENT OF AGREEMENT TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP CITY OF CARLSBAD The Subdivision Map Act sets a fifty (50) day time restriction on Planning Commission processing of Tentative Maps. This time limit can only be extended by the mutual concurrance of the applicant and the City. By accepting applications for tentative maps concurrently with other applications; i.e., Environmental Assessment, Environ- mental Impact Report, Condominium Plan, Planned Unit Development, etc., the fifty (50) day time limit is often exceeded. If you wish to have your application processed concurrently, this agree- ment must be signed by the applicant or his agent. If you choose not to sign the statement, the City will, not accept your application for the tentative map until all prior necessary entitlements have been processed and approved. The Governing Board wishes to advise the City officials and the residents of Carlsbad that as residential units are added to the community, it is likely that many classes in the district will be crowded, resulting in possible impairment to the educational and transportational services offered to the students. It is also likely that school schedules may have to be changed, resulting in an increase in the year-round school program, or double sessions, or both.
