Contained herein is a comprehensive sign program
developed for a single story office/industrial buiiding
on Lot 8 of Palomar Airport Business Park.
Each sign location and design has been carefully considered
in relationship to the Architecture of the building. In order
to implement these considerations throughout the building,
the project designer. Architects Coombs-Mesquita, Inc.
have developed signing criteria for the project.
Each tenant shali submit a proposed sign design with a
colored elevation showing copy and configuration; and
drawn to scale with dimensions, to Sierra Land Group, Inc.
for review and comment.
After owners review is completed, the tenant shall submit
a sign design to the City of Carlsbad Planning Department
for approval and permit. No signs are to be fabricated or
installed until the above permit is obtained.
The following signage types represent the criteria for each
catagory of sign. Following the description are illustrated
exhibits.
Location: At the project entrance on Las Palmas Drive.
Size: Maximum sign area is 59 sq.ft.
Maximum letter size 9"
Mini mum letter size 6"
Material: Applied vinyl letters
Refer to sign type A
Location: At the parking lot at front of the building.
Size: 3" high letters (lower and upper case).
Material: Applied vinyl letters
Refer to sign type B

Location: Parking Lot Spaces indicated for handicapped.
Size: Per State Handicap Standards
Material: Painted Metal
Refer to sign type C.
Electrical Room located in building.
Size: 3" high letters (upper and lower case)
Material: Applied white vinyl letters.
Refer to sign type D.
Each tenant shall have a back door suite identification.
Size: 8" high number
Material: Applied white vinyl numbers.
Refer to sign type E.
Each tenant shall have a front door suite identification
applied to the glass side panels adjacent to the front door
of the tenant's space. Identification to contain both suite
number and company name in both upper and lower case.
Size: Suite numbers to be 4" high
Company name to be 3" high (max. copy area 3 sq.
ft/20' of tenant frontage)
Material: Applied white vinyl letters
Refer to sign type F
Each building tenant shall be allowed 15 sq.ft. per lineal
foot of tenant space for a total of 30 sq.ft. less 3 sq.ft.
for sign type "F" (above). Corporate symbol, trademark,
or logo may be used as part of the copy.
