Dear Mr. Yazdi:
This letter is in response to your request for substantial conformance for the
architectural changes and elimination of the roof decks on the La Vercia condo project.
Since the roof decks were not part of the original calculations for meeting the required
passive recreation area, they can be eliminated. Because the roof decks have been
removed, it is understood that the building height will be reduced from approximately 29
feet to 26 feet. The architectural changes, which consist of changes to the window
locations, sizes and treatments around the windows, are minor in nature and also
substantially conform to the original development plan.
Please provide me with one set of blueline drawings reflecting the new floor plan and
elevation for the file.
