SUBJECT: CT 93-08/PUD 93-07 - CARRILLO RANCH VILLAGE O
Dear Chris:
The above referenced application was deemed complete for processing on March 15, 1994.
Per Section 65950 of the California Planning/Zoning and Development Laws, any public
agency which is the lead agency for a development project for which the project is exempt
from environmental review or for which a Negative Declaration is adopted shall approve
or disapprove the project within six months from the date on which an application
requesting approval of the project has been received and accepted as being complete by
that agency, unless the project proponent requests an extension of the time limit. In view
of the fact that we will not be able to make Planning Commission and City Council hearing
dates by September 15, 1994, City staff recommends that you request a 90 day extension
of time pursuant to Section 65957 of the California Planning/Zoning and Development
Laws. Failure to request this extension of time will necessitate that City staff take this
project forward with a recommendation for denial.
