Dear Anne:
Per our discussion on Tuesday, September 7,1993, we offer the following information
regarding the proposed offsite sewer located within the existing SDG&E easement. This
improvement will be located in the existing access road currently used by SDG&E for
maintenance purposes. This existing road is approximately 15 to 20 feet in width and is
wide enough for construction equipment such as backhoes for trenching, dump trucks for
spoil removals and tractors for materials delivery. The construction of this section of sewer
may be more expensive to construct due to the constrained area, but, can be accomplished
without intruding into the adjacent slope areas. The installation of any all weather surface
paving will be limited to the width of the existing roadway.
There is a short length of proposed sewer at the North terminus of Blackrail Road
that is not in the existing access road. The existing biological reconnaissance prepared for
the site shows Chamise chaparral existing in this area. It is not anticipated that any
significant impacts would result from the installation of this short segment of sewer line.
