Enclosed are the following documents:
Secondary/emergency access horizontal alignment
Secondary/emergency access profile at low area
Environmental Habitat/Quality exhibit
The secondary/emergency exhibits have been prepared to show the proposed route as well
as the grading required to resolve the gradient/drainage issues associated with the small
canyon on the Schindler property. The justification for the proposed alignment will be
contained in a follow up letter.
The alignment has been reviewed in conjunction with the Zone 20 E.I.R. The alignment
as proposed would not encroach into any environmentally significant area. The alignment
would also insure uninterrupted access for agricultural businesses in the area as required in
the E.I.R. and Specific Plan.
The Environmental Habitat/Quality exhibit for the remainder parcel was prepared from
field notes and observations made by Anita Hayworth, of Hayworth Biological. As can be
seen, the proposed drainage culvert would cross disturbed chapparal habitat while the
basin is located in an area of disturbed habitat consisting of scattered chaparral, non native
grasses, weeds and yerba santa.
