Project Description: Request for approval of a tentative map, non-residential planned
unit development permit and planned industrial permit to subdivide eight industrial lots on a 4.5
acre site and develop eight tilt-up concrete manufacturing buildings (one on each lot), ranging
in size from 5,029 to 9,987 square feet.
This is to advise that the City of Carlsbad has approved the above described project on
January 17, 1996, and has made the following determinations regarding the above described
project.
1. The project will not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. This project was reviewed previously and EIRs were prepared pursuant to the
provisions of CEQA.
3. Mitigation measures were not made a condition of the approval of the project.
4. A statement of Overriding Considerations was not adopted for this project.
5. Findings were made pursuant to the provisions of CEQA.
This is to certify that the final environmental impact report with comments and responses and
record of project approval are available to the General Public at THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will
hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad,
California, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 1996, to consider a request for
approval of a Tentative Tract Map, Nonresidential Planned Unit Development Permit and
Planned Industrial Permit to subdivide and develop eight industrial lots, on a 4.5 acre site
located on the north side of Kellogg Avenue, east of Camino Vida Roble, in the Carlsbad
Airport Centre Specific Plan (SP 181 (A)) area, in Local Facilities Management Zone 5 and
more particularly described as:
Lot 40 of Carlsbad Tract 81-46 unit no. 2, in the City of Carlsbad, County
of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 11288, filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, July 16, 1985.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public
hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after January 11,1996. If you
have any questions, please call Teresa Woods in the Planning Department at (619) 438-
1161, ext. 4447.
If you challenge the Tentative Tract Map, Nonresidential Planned Unit Development
Permit and/or Planned Industrial Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only those
issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
