Dear Ms. Joann Watanabe,
On 6/23/03,1 met with Clyde Wickham, Associate Engineer and
Michael Grim, Senior Planner of the City of Carlsbad regarding the
approved plans dated 4/7/03 for your new project at Poinsettia Lane
and Aviaria Pkwy in Carlsbad.
As my property abuts to your site nos. 49-51,1 expressed concerns
over any deviations in elevation and style of home regarding these
sites. As approved on 4/7/03, the plans stipulate single level homes
on sites 49 and 51, and that the homes on sites 49-51 are to be built
at 301 ft, 300.8 ft. and 302 ft elevation respectively.
Also, Kathy Baker has agreed that Standard Pacific would be
constructing a block wall to the rear of the Standard Pacific lots that
will be adjacent to the lots along Veronica Court (see enclosed copy
of 10/8/02 E-mail from Ms. Baker).
As a concerned neighbor, I would appreciate advance notification
prior to any changes in the above. Thanks in advance for your
cooperation.
