Thank you for applying for Land Use Permits in the City of Carlsbad. The Planning Department has
reviewed your development application No. CT 98-14/K 9%OWLCPA 98-04/PUD 98-05/HDP 98-
15KDP 98-68 as to its completeness for processing.
Due to the fact that legislative actions (Zone Change and Local Coastal Program Amendment) are being
processed concurrently with quasi-judicial actions the Planning Department has determined that the
tentative map, planned development permit, hillside development permit and coastal development permit
applications must remain incomplete until the legislative actions are approved by the City Council.
Please contact your staff planner, Elaine Blackburn at (760) 438-l 161, extension 4471, if you have any
questions or wish to set up a meeting to discuss the application.
A list of completeness items and issues of concern to staff will follow under separate cover. Any
issues should be resolved prior to scheduling for a public hearing. In addition, the City may
request, in the course of processing the application, that you clarify, amplify, correct, or
otherwise supplement the information required for this application.
