RE: Request grading permit extension on Tracts 98-17 (Hadley) and 98-18 (Carnation)

Dear Van:
Pursuant to our conversation I am writing this letter requesting that both Hadley and
Carnation grading permits be extended until November 15,2000.
Ryland will complete its grading, and have erosion control measures in place by
November 15, 2000. Ryland understands if Ryland has not completed its grading by
November 15,2000 that the grading permit will expire and the site may be shutdown by
the City.
Your expeditious written response is requested to allow Ryland to continue and complete
the grading.
