Anne: This is a good plan. The fire suppression zones are located off the plans. The narrowing of the
defensible space is mitigated very well by the construction requirments and the fact that the homeowners
can provide additional defensible space in their rear yards should they choose to. I would however like to
thank you for your concern and questioning of the plan. We appreciate the heads up review. Mike
Conditions «
1. Improvements to lots 7-12 must be constructed in accordance to the ignition resistant standards of the
Urban Wildland Interface Code. Architectural plans must reflect compliance.
2. Relocate proposed fire hydrants as follows:
a. Hydrant proposed at lot 18 to be relocated to the intersection
of Regatta Road and Brigantine Drive.
b. Hydrant proposed at lot 5 to be relocated to the Northwest
corner of lot 4.
Code reminders
All streets, water mains and fire hydrants must be approved and operational before construction framing
can begin.
