CARLSBAD BEACH ESTATES
In our recent telephone discussion I indicated to you that I was preparing a staff report for this
project and anticipated a hearing before the Planning Commission on March 1, 2000.
Unfortunately, I learned yesterday that the hearing scheduled for March 1 has been canceled. I
have been assured that the project will certainly be heard at the next available hearing, which is
on March 15. While there is obviously no guarantee that the Planning Commission will vote to
approve the project, the draft staff report has been prepared with a recommendation of approval.
