Dear Mr. Munoz:
I want to thank you for your comprehensive presentation on the preliminary review package for the
Carlsbad Beach Estates project. I appreciate the extra time you spent knowing how busy you are. Even
though it was a preliminary review, it gave us the direction that we needed to meet all the conditions and
guidelines that the planning department required. David Rick's' input was also appreciated; we now have
a firm understanding of what action our civil engineers must take.
We were hoping that we would be able to get the zonings blended; now that we know we can't, we will do
some re-design to conform to the different density zonings. I believe that the project will still maintain its
esthetic integrity and it's economic feasibility. »
