SUBJECT: Agricultural Mitlgotion Fees for Planning Area 7
Per the conditions of approval :for Poinsettia Properties Planning Area 7, agricultural mitigation
fees must be paid prior to issuance of a grading permit and recordation of a final map. In order to
meet our goal of obtaining a grading permit by October, we need to pay this fix as soon as
possible. I
Planning Area 7 covers a total oS 18.7 acres. As of July 1,1999 the current agricultural
mitigation fees for the City of Carlsbad are $5,500 per acre. Thus a total agricultural mitigation
fee of $102,850 is required. ;
Please send a check to Hofman Planning Associates in the amount o^!02,S50)payable to the
Mty of Carlsbad. HPA will siilsmit the payment of this fee to the City as soon as we receive the
