Dear Terry:
Enclosed for your information is a copy of the topo base map that I have sent off to Mitch
Beauchamp our biologist who will be preparing the grasslands mitigation for the Spyglass n project
in the City of Carlsbad.
Six months ago in October of 1999 you and I had discussed this project and you had indicated that
you would start the preparation of a formal agreement between the developer and the State for the
improvements of this mitigation site. Now that the biologist is beginning the preparation of the
mitigation plan, I ask that you please forward to us, as soon as you have it ready, a copy of the formal
agreement that you referred to last October.
On the enclosed topography map, I have identified the CalTrans parcel by deed reference. If there
are additional references you want on the exhibit, please let me know.
Please give me a call after you receive this, and I look forward to working with you on the
preparation of a formal agreement relating to this mitigation plan on CalTrans property in northeast
Carlsbad.
