NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to you, because your interest may be affected, that the
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the Council
Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, December 15, 1999, to consider a request for approval of a Mitigated
Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Tract
Map, Site Development Plan, Special Use Permit, and Hillside Development Permit to
create 19 residential lots with a minimum lot area of 10,000 square feet 3 second
dwelling units and two open space lots totaling 3.9 acres on a 10.4 acre site located on
the southeast corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and El Camino Real in Local Facilities
Managem.ent Zone 2 and more particularly described as:
That certain portion of Lot J, Ranch0 Agua Hedionda, in the
City of Carlsbad, County of S.an Diego, State of California,
according to partition Map thereof, No. 823 on file in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County, and described
in Deed to Wayne Willard Connor, recorded June 21, 1957
as Document No. 92974 in Book 6632, page 183 of official
records of said County.
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the
public hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after December 9,
1999. If you have any questions, please call Van Lynch in the Planning Department at

The time within which you may judicially challenge this Mitigated Negative Declaration
and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, Tentative Tract Map, Site
Development Plan, Special Use Permit, ‘and Hillside Development Permit; if approved,
is established by state law and/or city ordinance, and is very short. If you challenge the
Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program,
Tentative Tract Map, Site Development Plan, Special Use Permit, and Hillside
Development Permit in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or
someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written
correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
