Dear John:
As you’are aware, the 20 day environmental review notice period has begun and the document has been
sent to the agencies for review. I’ll let you know if I here or receive any comments.
In reviewing the plans of the project, I have come across some additional items that should be included
into the final set of plans. On sheet 1 of the Tentative Map, the total open space lot area is shown to be
3.8 acres. Lots A (2.7) and B (.9) total 3.8 acres. Please correct this on the map. I’m sure its just a
rounding error but it should be fixed. The elevations of the proposed units are simple line drawings and
should be redone to better reflect the design and architecture. The Planning Commission has taken a
stronger position on design and the better the plans represent the project, the easier it is for staff and the
Commission to review the projects design. Included in the elevations should be all four side of the units.
Also have information on the elevations which describe architectural features and finish treatments.
Please have the overall building height and single story roof height dimensions added to the plans as well.

Enclosed are a red-lined set of plans that will show two profile locations. Please provide these profiles
for the existing and proposed topography and include the units on the proposed topography. The scale
should be the same as the map (1” = 40’) and do not use any vertical or horizontal exaggeration on these
exhibits.
As you are aware, time is of the essence and the sooner that the above items are taken care of, the sooner
the project can go forward. I’m looking at a December date at this time. The final plans will need to be
in by November 19, 1999 to make a early December Planning Commission hearing date.
