Dear Dennis:
The Planning and Engineering Departments have completed their review of the September 20,
2000 submittal of the subject project. The following issues/corrections to the plans remain and
must be resolved prior to scheduling the project for public hearing.
1. The retaining walls proposed within Lots 4, 5, and 6 exceed 6’. The City’s Hillside
Ordinance limits wall height to 6’; therefore, please reduce wall heights to 6’ or less.
2. Street widths of 56’ would be consistent with surrounding development.
3. Please remove and/or correct the information on the cover sheet as noted on the red lined
check print provided to you on November 6,200O.
4. Please consult with the Fire Department (Mike Smith) regarding the width of the tire
suppression zone, and the type of vegetation permitted within a reduced fire suppression
zone.
5. Please include as part of the Landscape Plan submittal, an HOA maintenance exhibit
which incorporates the open space lot and all downhill slopes.
