Dear Ms. O'Gara,
The Fire Department has reviewed your request and regrets to inform you it has been
denied. We have reviewed the conditions that were agreed upon with the City of
Carlsbad in Resolution No. 4913 and the only exceptions refer to (G.) Balconies, trellis
and decks. There is no consideration for adding to the footprint of the proposed homes
into the fire zone and we believe this is a reasonable condition based upon the potential
fire hazard.
