areas in this District. At this time, the schools of attendance for this project are:

The Governing Board wishes to advise the Department of Real Estate and residents of Carlsbad that at
present the Carlsbad Unified School District elementary schools are operating at full capacity. It is
possible, therefore, that the students generated from this project may not attend the closest neighborhood
school due to overcrowded conditions and, in fact, may attend school across town. You should also be
aware that there are no school buses for regular student transportation from home to school.
The Governing Board wishes to also inform you that conditions imposed upon new development within
the City of Carlsbad requires mitigation of school impacts.
