SECOND ENGINEERING ISSUES STATEMENT
Engineering Department staff has completed a second review of the above-referenced subject.
Prior to staff making a determination on the proposed project, the following engineering issues
of concern still must be resolved or adequately addressed by the applicant:

1. Provide calculations which verify that the existing onsite 18" storm drain is capable of
collecting and conveying the anticipated storm flows from the development. This flow is
identified as 27.3 cfs per the preliminary hydrology study. Identify capacity of the
existing 18" pipe (private) and the immediate downstream reach (public) in Priestly Drive
to ensure the system will function properly. Revise the tentative map to include any
upgrades required to accommodate the flows.
