NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to you, because your interest may be affected, that the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200
Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2004, to
consider a request for approval of a Conditional Use Permit Amendment to increase building
area on an existing church site through the installation of two modular classroom buildings
located at 3254 Eureka Place in Local Facilities Management Zone 1 and more particularly
described as:
Parcels 1 and 2: That portion of Block 2 of Mull's Addition to
Carlsbad, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, according to map thereof No. 514 filed in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County on March 22, 1888;
and
Parcel 3: The southerly 25 feet of lot 26 and all of Lot 27 in Optimo
Tract No. 2, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of
California, according to map thereof No. 2151, filed in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County, March 4, 1929
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public
hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after October 27, 2004. If you have
any questions, please call Christer Westman in the Planning Department at (760) 602-4614.
If you challenge the Conditional Use Permit Amendment in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
