Dear Bridget:
Sprint would like to request that our Conditional Use Permit No. 00-43 be extended for
another five-year term from its expiration date of May 15, 2006. All conditions of this
permit have been met and the use does not have a substantial negative effect on
surrounding properties or the public health and welfare of its residents.
Please find enclosed the following documents for the City of Carlsbad that have been signed
off by the owners of Aviara Resort Associates.

• Land Use Review Application
• Check #0013799478 to the City of Carlsbad in the amount of $1040.00 representing
the check for $755.00 and the noticing amount fee of $285.00.
