RE: EXTENSION OF CUP-106
Dear Mr. Merrill:
The subject Conditional Use Permit was adopted on July 23, 1975 by
the Planning Commission. Condition No. 2 of this CUP gave the
approval a two year period to initiate construction. Therefore the date of expiration is July 23, 1977. Your letter of May 16, 1977 requests that the City extend the expiration date. This cannot be done since the expiration date is part of the approving resolution.
This means a new application will have to be submitted if you wish
to keep the Conditional Use Permit alive. Unfortunately as you know, the City has a moratorium on accepting new applications because of
the lack of sewer capacity at this time. This moratorium does allow
the acceptance of new applications if the City Manager determines that no sewer connection is necessary. It appears that the only way the City Manager would make this exception, is if your request would in- clude septic tanks instead of sewer'hookups.
Nevertheless, you may make this request to the City Manager for accep-
tance of a new CUP application. If you do, please write a letter
addressed to the City Manager, c/o the Planning Department.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely, gd! Bud Plender P?
