Subject: CUP 110 and ZCA-169 - Batiquitos Substation -
S.D.G. 3 E. - Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
Dear Mr. Plender:
Responding to your request of October 14, 1975, we have the following comments with respect to the subject proceedings:
1. The substation site is located within the Carlsbad Municipal Water District service area and public water service needs
will be furnished to the site.
2. The Water District is an immediate neighbor to the site itself and in the development of our second steel reservoir site, we have negotiated a working agreement with the San Diego Gas & Electric Company to share in the use of a common driveway and integrate our landscaping and beautification programs.
By letter dated September 18, 1975, we have advised you of the acquisi- tion of a portion of the original substation site and we understand that you will amend the plat maps to limit the proceedings to the utility's net ownership, as shown on their drawing No. BQ-S-500 (the detailed plat map portion).
