3. REVIEW CODE COMPLAINT HISTORY (CODE ENFORCEMENT, POLICE,
FIRE, ETC.).
4. CONTACT APPLICANT (OR OWNER) AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
FOR THE REVIEW.
5. COMPLETE REVIEW INFORMATION SECTION DURING REVIEW.
6. HAVE SENIOR PLANNER REVIEW AND SIGN.

Memorandum prepared for City Council (dated 2/11/14) summarizing compliance and
misrepresentation issues. Received email from GVP on 4/23/14 indicating that CC
does not wish to move forward with bringing the CUP back to CC re: issue of
misrepresentation of the project. However, if and when a CUP amendment is
submitted to add a firing range, issues will be addressed at that time.

Condition No. 12 of City Council Resolution No. 2013-117 specifies that no signage
regarding the sale of firearms is allowed on-site. Business currently has a number of
window decals for brands of guns on northern elevation. In addition, the community
mailers and newspaper ads misrepresent how the project was presented to the City
Council.
