HomeMy WebLinkAboutCUP 124; Montessori School; Conditional Use Permit (CUP) (10)MEMORANDUM September 22, 1976 TO: PLANNING COMMISSION FROM: PLANNING DEPARTMENT SUBJECT: CUP-124, CT 76-11 - ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS As the Staff Report for CT 76-11 states, a Specific Plan, SP- 136, exists for the project site. Staff suggested that if the Planning Commission wishes further control over the develop- ment of the project it adopt the following condition as a part of its action: "(15) Prior to approval of the final map, an amendment to SP-136 shall be submitted by the applicant and approved by City Council reflecting the adopted tentative tract map." If the Commission does not wish to retain the Specific Plan, Staff suggests adoption of the following condition: "(15) SP-136, adopted by Resolution 3243, is rescinded." The Staff Report for CUP-124 notes that the applicant proposes an enrollment of 68 student "slots". State licensing of day care centers limits their enrollment. If the Commission wishes to regulate enrollment, Staff sugqests adoption of the follow- ing condition: "(12) Enrollment in the school shall be limited to 68 students per half-day session. Increases in enrollment shall require a formal amendment to the Conditional Use Permit." AM:mbs
