SUBJECT: BUILDING PERMITS, 740 PINE STREET (MONTESSORI SCHOOL)
It has come to my attention that Building Plans have been submitted to convert an existing S-F structure at the above address into a private school (Montessori).
As a private school, the proposal requires a Conditional Use Permit (Section 21.42.010 "c"). It would be improper for the Planning Department to approve building permits for the conversion prior to the Planning -Commission approving a Conditional Use Permit for a private school.
