Dear Ms. Adams:
Although we have not yet received official notification, we have been
verbally informed that the City Council has exercised its prerogative to review the
approval of the above referenced i terns by the Planning Commission. We understand
that one of the items of concern was that of traffic considerations. We also under-
stand that the hearing date proposed is June 7. Our traffic engineer, who has done
work for the City of Carlsbad for the Plaza Camino Real and for our projects, Jim
Federhart, has long had plans to be out of the country on that date. We would
greatly appreciate, therefore, your setting the date for the City Council hearing on
these items to the regular scheduled meeting of the City Council on June 21 .
