NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad will hold a
public hearing at the Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, California, at
6:OO p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2004, to consider a request for a ten-year retroactive
extension (from March 4, 2004 to March 3, 2014) of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow
the continued operation of a church campus on a 5.04 acre property located at the southwest
corner of Alga Road and El Fuerte Street at 6628 Santa Isabel Street in Local Facilities
Management Zone 6 and more particularly described as:
La Costa Meadows, Unit No. 2, Lot 412, in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego
Those persons wishing to speak on this proposal are cordially invited to attend the public
hearing. Copies of the staff report will be available on and after April 29, 2004. If you have any
questions, please call Chris Sexton in the Planning Department at (760) 602-4624.
If you challenge the Conditional Use Permit extension in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Carlsbad at or prior to the public hearing.
