SUBJECT: Recycling Center at Palomar Transfer Station
In July, 1980, the State Solid Waste Management Board awarded a grant to the
County of San Diego for the construction of a recycling center at the Palomar
Transfer Station. The primary purpose of the center will be to enhance
conservation and recovery of natural resources in the County. It will not
interfere with the primary operation of the Station.
Section 65402 of the California Government Code requires your Planning Commission
to report on the conformity of a proposed project with your General Plan.
Failure to report within forty (40) days after the matter has been submitted
results in a finding of conformance.
